"Nice garden terrace. Tagine is a slow-cooked North African stew, especially common in Morocco. This one had lamb with prunes, almonds, onions, garlic, and a mix of spices like cumin, ginger, cinnamon, and saffron. Preserved lemon and olives added a tangy, salty contrast to the sweetness of the fruit. Though named after the conical clay pot it’s traditionally cooked in, a tagine can be made in any heavy pot. It’s cooked slowly over low heat, allowing the meat to become tender and the flavors to blend. Served with rice, bread, or couscous, the ideal tagine is balanced between savory, sweet, and acidic notes."

"This was the first resturant I visited in Freiburg and is without my number 1 resturant. Good wholesome food. Relaxed atmosphere. On sunny days seating is available outside. Generous portions"
